Clinical Training
How ANM students go from classroom to field-ready.
Field postings begin early in the ANM program and continue, with increasing responsibility, through outreach camps and PHC placements.
Rotation Structure
ANM students rotate through primary health centre postings, community health outreach, antenatal and immunisation camps, and maternal & child health placements — each assessed against a clinical logbook aligned to Bihar Nurses Registration Council (BNRC) expectations.
Assessment Standard
- Regular clinical logbook review by supervising staff
- Competency checkpoints aligned to BNRC skill expectations
- End-of-posting practical assessment
- Continuous feedback loop between field supervisors and institute staff
Safety & Supervision
No student provides unsupervised care until a skill has been signed off. [PLACEHOLDER — confirm and publish current supervision ratios and specific placement sites once finalised.]
